Police Investigating Death of Man Found Injured In 5600 Block of North Central Expressway

Police are investigating the death of a man who they say was found in the 5600 block of North Central Expressway early Thursday and hospitalized with an "apparent puncture wound"

Police are investigating the death of a man who they say was found in the 5600 block of North Central Expressway early Thursday and hospitalized with an “apparent puncture wound.”

Dallas Fire-Rescue was called to the area at 12:22 a.m. April 23 after a witness found the man in distress and believed he might be injured, according to a press release.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the man, who had an “apparent puncture wound,” to a local hospital, where he died, police say.

The motives and circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation. Dallas police say they’re investigating the incident as an unexplained death.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and confirm the man’s identity.
