Lane closures on and along the Dallas North Tollway are impacting drivers in the Park Cities and Preston Hollow. Here’s what to know if you’re planning to be out and about this weekend and beyond.
DNT between Mockingbird Lane and Oak Lawn Avenue
Two northbound left lanes of the tollway from north of Oak Lawn Avenue to Wycliff Avenue and two southbound left lanes from Beverly Drive to Wycliff Avenue are closed from 10 p.m. May 15 until 5 a.m. Monday, May 18.
The lane closures are to resurface the Wycliff Avenue bridge.
“One lane in each direction will remain open to traffic at all times, but drivers should expect delays in the area,” an advisory from the North Texas Tollway Authority reads.
DNT to I-635 direct-connector ramp
The southbound DNT to westbound I-635 direct-connector ramp will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through May 18.
During the closure, drivers will take the Alpha Road/Galleria Road exit and continue on Dallas Parkway/Inwood Road before turning right onto the I-635 frontage road to enter I-635.
I-635 to DNT direct-connector ramps
The eastbound I-635 to southbound Dallas North Tollway direct-connector ramp, and the westbound I-635 to northbound DNT direct-connector ramp will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. May 18-26.
During the closure, drivers will take the Dallas Parkway/Inwood Road exit, and follow the signs to get on the tollway northbound at Inwood Road.
DNT frontage road from I-635 to Galleria Drive
Two northbound left lanes of Dallas Parkway from I-635 to Galleria Drive will be closed from from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, as well as from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly May 18-26.
DNT frontage road from I-635 to Harvest Hill Road
Two southbound left lanes of Dallas Parkway from I-635 to Harvest Hill Road, and the southbound right lane on the DNT from I-635 to Harvest Hill Road will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. May 18-26. The southbound left lane of Dallas Parkway from I-635 to Harvest Hill Road will also be closed continuously from I-635 to Harvest Hill Road.
