SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: MAIL MUCKED

Reported at 11:45 a.m. May 31: A mischief maker may have stolen mail from a home on Marquette Street.

HIGHLAND PARK

25 Monday

Arrested at 12:50 a.m.: A 25 year old in the 4200 block of Wycliff Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, expired vehicle registration, running a stop sign, and resisting arrest, search or transport.

Arrested at 2:20 a.m.: A 25 year old in Highland Park Village for possession of under 2 ounces of marijuana and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

28 Thursday

Arrested at 2:35 a.m.: A 22 year old at the intersection of Preston Road and Versailles Avenue for driving while intoxicated.

31 Sunday

Arrested at 11:33 p.m.: A 28 year old in the 4500 block of Lorraine Avenue for damage to town property, a warrant, failure to identify fugitive from justice, striking an unattended vehicle, and driving while intoxicated/open alcohol container.

UNIVERSITY PARK

25 Monday

Arrested at 3:10 a.m.: A man on Preston Road for driving while intoxicated.

Arrested at 12:45 p.m.: A person on University Boulevard for public intoxication.

27 Wednesday

Arrested at 7:56 a.m.: A person on University Boulevard for a warrant.

Reported at 8:52 a.m.: A burglar got into a home on Westminster Avenue.

Reported at 9:04 a.m.: A crook took stuff from a construction site on Marquette Street.

Reported at 12:27 p.m.: A careless driver abandoned a vehicle on Southwestern Boulevard that was later towed away.

Reported at 4:32 p.m.: A fraudster used the credit card of a University Park resident on Druid Lane.
