Austin-based electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla could soon roll onto Knox Street, according to a new filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Tesla filed to start construction on a site just over 2,500 square feet in the 3100 block of Knox Street in August. The cost of the work is estimated at $100,640, according to the filing. Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filings are subject to change.
The site is within walking distance of Tesla’s rival electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian’s location in the 3000 block of Knox Street.
Tesla has other locations across North Texas, including in the 6500 block of Cedar Springs Road in Dallas, in Fort Worth, Plano, Southlake, and more.
