Area film enthusiasts can help choose the year’s best short films when the 29th Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival screens on the second floor of Highland Park Town Hall at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 3.
Those interested in taking part can call to reserve their space at 214-559-9345. The program is for adults ages 18 and over. The Highland Park Library will provide attendees with popcorn and candy.
Audience members will view 10 MANHATTAN SHORT finalist films from 10 countries. Which is the best film and which stars the best actor? Those awards will be chosen by ballots cast by audiences at each participating venue.
Winners will be announced at manhattanshort.com on Monday, Oct. 5.
