Dallas North Tollway lane closures overnight on Sept. 8-9 will impact North Dallas drivers.
All northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway from Northwest Highway to Royal Lane and the northbound Northwest Highway entrance ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. Sept. 8 to 5 a.m. Sept. 9.
The closures are needed to allow crews to replace a dynamic message board above the mainlanes, according to the North Texas Tollway Authority.
While the work is underway, drivers will take eastbound Northwest Highway to Preston Road, turn north and continue on Preston Road to Royal Lane, turn left, then follow the signs to get onto the northbound lanes of the DNT.
