The pink palace in the 8900 block of Douglas Avenue, once owned by cosmetic queen Mary Kay Ash, is now being sold for the reduced price of $2,999,999. The mansion was originally put on the market late February for $3.3 million by Karen Luter of Allie Beth Allman and Associates, and she said she is planning a big party in August for potential buyers and real estate insiders.
Built in 1984, the 12,000-square-foot house was where Ash held parties for her top sales associates, and where she lived for nearly 10 years. It has beautiful landscaped gardens, a pool in a lavish courtyard, six bedrooms, six-and-a-half baths, two dining rooms, and three living spaces.
