George Bannerman Dealey Montessori Vanguard and International Academy is more than just a fancy name. The school made the 2010 list of Higher Performing Schools as designated by the National Center for Educational Achievement. Seventh and eighth grade students were deemed on track for “college and career readiness” in the areas of math, reading, science, and writing. Only social studies did not make the cut.
