Congratulations to the HPHS Color Guard for placing first out of 19 teams at the Winterguard competition on Feb. 7.
Director Danny Martinez said this “extremely young group composed of middle school and high school kids held their own against varsity level programs. I am thankful for the parents and the Highlander Band boosters for their continued support.”
The team also advanced in its class, moving from Regional A to Scholastic A. HPHS has placed in the top two in both of the Winterguard competitions this year.
