University Park Elementary kids are getting their hands dirty.
The school was awarded Whole Foods’ Whole Kids Foundation Grant for $2,000 to support their Learning Garden.
The garden will be central in the students’ science classes, as they learn hands-on about plants and gardening from Dallas Master Gardeners of the Dallas County Master Gardner Association.
