The Lady Scots announced two powerful players as its 2016-17 team captains: Madeline Ngo and Jordan Westendorff.
Ngo is a two-time all-district player, who’s been scoring on the court since third grade. Westendorff is the reining District 10-6A MVP and Texas 6A All-State honoree.
The captains also play on an Excel club team, which they led to a first-place finish in the 17 USA division at the Mizuno Lone Star Qualifier in April to earn a bid to USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior Nationals in June.
