Armstrong Elementary’s Glass Slipper Gala was one for the storybooks, raising crucial funds to create more happily ever afters for students, staff, and the community.
The unforgettable evening on Nov. 14 at the Dallas Country Club began with enchanted garden cocktails, followed by a seated candlelit dinner, live auction, and dancing until midnight. Guests waved their wands to win magical auction items such as an Evermore Disney Dream Escape, a San Miguel Storybook Getaway, New York City in Royal Fashion, and a Royal Sleepover at Castle Armstrong.
Armstrong’s Royal Court wandered through whimsical hedge mazes before dancing the night away in the glow of Cinderella’s Castle. The evening’s spellbinding surprises included wickedly good specialty cocktails, a live sonnet writer, and photo opportunities in front of a horse drawn carriage that drove one lucky paddle raise winner home.
The fairy godmothers who chaired Armstrong’s 2025 auction were Kelly Hohertz, Michelle Joyner, Sarah Preston, and Courtney Radloff. Headlining sponsors and partners who brought the magic to life included Balekian Hayes Family Law, The ten Broeke Foundation, Todd Events, and BEYOND.
This fairy tale didn’t end when the clock struck midnight — critical funds raised during the live and silent auction will directly support teacher and staff salaries and help Armstrong eagles’ dreams take flight all year long.
