Students in Thomas Jefferson High School’s AVID program brought Easter fun to students at Walnut Hill International Leadership Academy.
AVID, which stands for advancement via individual determination, began in Dallas ISD in 2002 and seeks to prepare students for college and future success.
The group of Thomas Jefferson High School AVID students visited the Walnut Hill Leadership Academy dressed as the Easter bunny and hosted an egg hunt for students in pre-K through second grade.
“The event created a joyful experience while also building connections between the two campuses,” a Dallas ISD spokesperson said.
