The Texas Trees Foundation is giving complimentary trees to those who live within five miles of a future Cool Schools Neighborhood Park or have a child who attends one of Dallas ISD's "Cool Schools."
City of UP Dedicates Coffee Park Playground For Murzin Family

Ann McCartin Dies at 85
Ann Christine Daley McCartin, the wife of former Park Cities People owner and publisher Thomas R. McCartin, died on September 8, 2022. Mrs. McCartin was a longtime resident of the Park Cities and was closely associated with the newspaper from 1985 to 1988.
‘Share the Shoes’ Initiative Donates Footwear to 520 Children Around The City
The Dallas Police Department and Energy Transfer joined forces for the sixth consecutive year to donate about $10,000 worth of shoes to more than 520 children across Dallas.
