We just found out that sports editor Chuck Cox won first-place in the sports writing category of the Suburban Newspapers of America editorial contest. He was honored for a feature he wrote on L.A. Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw, a Highland Park High School alum, last summer. Congrats, dude!
