As last night’s City Council meeting was wrapping up, Mayor Pro Tem Jerry Grable caught everyone’s attention once more:
“I would like to pass on my condolences to Bob, Robbie and George, for Kansas’s loss last night.”
As you may remember, University Park City Hall is a veritable KU alumni association. After Grable spoke, there were a few slight groans, then everyone shuffled for the door. There’s always next year.
