
Northwestern lacrosse player Taylor Thornton, a Hockaday alumnae, has been nominated for Sports Illustrated‘s Female College Athlete of the Year.
Thornton will try to wrap up her stellar college career by helping the Wildcats win their third straight and eighth overall national title. After opening the NCAA Tournament with a 15-8 win over Stanford on Sunday, Northwestern will host Penn State in the second round at 7 p.m. Saturday.
