
Jesuit will play Molina to cap the first day of its annual Knights of Columbus basketball tournament this weekend at Walsh Gym.
The Rangers will host a field of eight teams for the three-day event, with each team playing once each day. The action begins at 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 1 p.m. Saturday. The championship game will be at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
First-round matchups include Mesquite against Waco University (3 p.m.), Richardson Pearce against Wilmer-Hutchins (4:30 p.m.), and Amarillo Tascosa against Round Rock (6 p.m.). Jesuit and Molina will tip-off about 7:30 p.m.
The Rangers (2-2) enter the tournament with some momentum after defeating Richardson Berkner 59-53 on Tuesday.
