After finishing an unbeaten regular season over the weekend, the Highland Park girls soccer team will open the Class 6A playoffs this week.
The Lady Scots (19-0-2) will face Skyline in the Region II bi-district round at 6 p.m. Thursday at Lake Highlands. The Lady Raiders (10-6-3) are the fourth seed from District 9-6A, and defeated Sunset 5-1 in their regular-season finale.
HP wrapped up the District 10-6A schedule over the weekend with an 8-1 win over Richardson on Friday followed by a 2-0 shutout of Mesquite Horn on Saturday. The Lady Scots have won 16 straight games.
