For the second straight season, Highland Park’s run in the Class 6A playoffs ended in the Region II semifinals in Huntsville.
The Lady Scots (43-7) fell to Conroe Oak Ridge in four sets on Friday, 25-18, 22-25, 25-22, 25-17 despite some solid net play from junior hitters Falyn Reaugh and Jordan Westendorff.
Still, HP established a new school record for victories this season and earned a district title with an undefeated run through District 10-6A. Friday’s loss was the first for the Lady Scots since tournament play in August.
