Hockaday graduate Annie Herring finished sixth with her United States teammates in the 4X boat at the World Rowing Junior Championships over the weekend in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Herring, a freshman on the crew team at Brown University, was chosen for the under-19 national team after placing third in the single sculls at the 2021 USRowing Youth National Regatta.
She reached the “A” final in Bulgaria as part of a quartet including Heather Schmidt of Niskayuna, New York; Meena Baher of Mountain View, California; and Jackie Oruci of Oyster Bay, New York.
