Rhys Garrick’s hat trick propelled Jesuit Dallas to a 6-0 shutout of Highland Park in AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League action on Wednesday in Farmers Branch.

Garrick scored once in each period, including a final goal with 24 seconds remaining. Nathan Morris, Chris Osler, and Benjamin Khalil also found the net for the Rangers (2-1-1). Bennett Ortegon made 16 saves for Jesuit, which held a 56-16 edge in shots on goal.

Cash Murphy tallied 50 saves for the Scots (1-3). However, HP accumulated 36 penalty minutes, including two misconduct infractions.

The Scots have scored just five goals in their first four games this season heading into an Oct. 15 matchup against Birdville. Jesuit will face unbeaten Prosper on the same day.
