A contingent of Highland Park wrestlers stood out in various weight classes at the annual Scot Super Six tournament on Saturday.
Leading the way were sophomores Jax Hanson (138 pounds) and Holden Jacobs (157 pounds), with five victories apiece to claim titles in their respective divisions.
Other top performers for HP included Bey Friedrich (106 pounds), Laird Greenfield (126 pounds), Thomas Wildman (132 pounds), Bennett Ham (165 pounds), and Emmett Carroll (heavyweight).
Also on Saturday, Trevor Leap of Jesuit Dallas was a standout with four victories at 165 pounds, while Kingston Stephens (113 pounds) and Alex Shomin (132 pounds) each went undefeated for the day.
The event also included teams from Bishop Lynch, McKinney Boyd, Midlothian Heritage, and Richardson Pearce.
Next up for the Rangers is the Frank Halloran Jesuit Classic tournament on Jan. 16-17. The Scots will head to the 5A state duals next weekend in Wichita Falls.
