A $100 Broker Hyde wallet that likely fell onto the driveway from its owner's pocket when he got home in the the 3600 block of Normandy Avenue at 6:30 p.m. May 21 was discovered missing at 6:30 a.m. the next day.

Crime: May 13 – 19
A resident who left the key fobs in his vehicles overnight at his home in the 4400 block of Lorraine Avenue found his white 2017 Land Rover and white 2015 Cadillac Escapade missing at 6:49 a.m. May 15. OnStar shut down the Cadillac, allowing Dallas police to locate it and arrest the driver. Dallas police also arrested the driver of the Land Rover who crashed the vehicle.

A five-crystal gold necklace was found at 12:21 p.m. in front of Highland Park Town Hall on April 2. The necklace was inventoried and placed in the Highland Park Department of Public Safety evidence locker.

Moosa the dog served mandatory quarantine after biting a man on the hand at 8:14 p.m. outside a home in the 5000 block of Holland Avenue. The man, who was taking his trash out to the curb when bit, took himself to Presbyterian Hospital. Moosa was ordered to stay indoors for 10 days.
