We mentioned that Yumilicious Frozen Yogurt would take over the former Great Harvest Bread Company outpost in Snider Plaza back in October. We asked longtime Snider Plaza fro-yo pusher Max Fuqua if the new competition was a threat to Plaza Health Foods. At that time, in the comments, Fuqua said “Competition is the American way!”
Well, now’s your chance to do a little comparison tasting. Yumilicious Snider Plaza will celebrate its grand opening on Dec. 10 with free yogurt from 5 to 9 p.m. and a visit from Project Runway star Shirin Askari.
The new Yumilicious location, the company’s eighth, touts 16 flavors (avocado?) and 40 toppings. The event will feature a raffle for a year’s worth of frozen yogurt, T shirts, gift cards, and more.
