Just as a story about assistant superintendent Ben Coker’s retirement is hitting Park Cities lawns, the Highland Park school district has announced that Armstrong principal Mary Richey is stepping down.
According to the news release, Richey has been with HPISD since 1996. Her 34-year education career began as an English teacher. She went on to serve as a counselor, assistant principal, and principal in Arlington ISD and Garland ISD schools.
