Driving home from an Oak Cliff People assignment in the 9 o’clock hour last night, I ran into a big slowdown on northbound Central because the Lovers Lane exit was closed. I’ve called TxDoT for an explanation this morning, but I’ve not gotten a call back yet. Anybody else run into this issue lately? I’m wondering whether last night was an isolated incident.
Update: A TxDoT spokesman told me this must have been a one-time closure to address a temporary problem. He also pointed me to this map that details any planned closures of two hours or more.
