This isn’t Park Cities-centric, but I think the lesson is pretty universal: bullying = not cool. And I know everyone thinks HPISD is a place where dreams come true, but there are a ton of kids at those schools who hate walking through the doors every day. Just like anywhere, kids get called gay or homo or fat or poor or whatever else some clown could come up with in the hallway.
The kids at Cypress Ranch High School in Cypress wanted to do something about it, so they made this video. It’s probably got at least 1,000 kids in it, and it kills. Since they posted it last week it’s been viewed 45,000 times. So watch it, make your kids watch it, then vote for Cypress Ranch in The Great American No Bull Challenge.
Then go make a video for Highland Park. Or St. Mark’s. Or ESD. Or any school, really, because it’s time to stop letting them win.
