West Nile Continues to Take Toll on Park Cities

|

This past month, I’ve saved every email I’ve received from Dallas Health and Human Services. They send out a daily media update on West Nile, and send a special one whenever someone dies from the virus. The seventh death was just reported a few minutes ago, a Seagoville-area resident.

In one week of emails — seven days! — the number of cases has climbed from 94 to 130. Highland Park now has three West Nile-positive residents, and 75225 (the parts that fall in both University Park and Dallas) has six confirmed cases.

Seriously folks, keep slathering on that bug spray.
