Three seats on the Highland Park ISD Board of Trustees will be on the May 11 ballot. Kirk Dooley, the district’s unofficial poet laureate, sends word that all three incumbents want to continue to serve. Kelly Walker (Place 3) and Paul Rowsey (Place 4) are each seeking a second term; Cynthia Beecherl (Place 5) is seeking a third. We’ll have more details in this week’s paper.
