If you’re considering where to go for happy hour this afternoon, take this into account: Highland Park High School graduate Mallory Routh is hosting a fundraiser at the Katy Trail Ice House benefiting Marine Corps Lt. Stephen Mitchell, an Iraq veteran who needs a BiPAP machine. The all-day event includes auctions as well as discounts for supporters.
“We are family friendly (including dogs), so bring the whole gang and come on out and enjoy the Katy Trail experience while raising awareness of this young man’s story,” Routh said.
