You know her as Gidget, the Flying Nun, Forrest Gump’s mama, Abraham Lincoln’s wife, and Spider-Man’s Aunt May. But now you can also add “guest speaker at the Wings Luncheon” to Sally Field’s list of titles. The Oscar-winning actress has been booked to speak at the Hilton Anatole on April 11 in support of New Friends New Life, the Dallas nonprofit that benefits trafficked teen girls as well as sexually exploited women and their children.
Caruth Hills resident Katie Pedigo is the executive director of New Friends New Life, which had to cancel its annual Holiday Home Tour on Sunday because of the icepocalypse.
