There’s only one item on the agenda for today’s Highland Park Town Council meeting that’s not part of the consent agenda, and it will be discussed in an executive session:
In accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 551, Subchapter D Section 551.076 – DELIBERATION REGARDING TOWN SECURITY – the Town Council will convene into closed session to deliberate the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation, of security devices; specifically, the Town’s alarm monitoring system, and the Town’s procurement of alarm monitoring services/systems.
So we probably won’t bother to attend this meeting, since we’d be shown the door for the interesting part.
