Equinox Preston Hollow has launched its summer backpack drive benefiting the Young Warriors Summer Learning Program, which is the summer effort of the Heart of a Warrior Charitable Foundation.
Equinox will be collecting backpacks at the Kids Club of its Preston Hollow location at 8611 Hillcrest Road. Donors will receive a one-day gym pass for each backpack they bring through July 25.
The donated backpacks will be presented to students in the YWSL program during graduation ceremonies on Aug. 1 at the University of Dallas. YWSL is an eight-week educational program that focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math for Dallas children in kindergarten through seventh grade.
