University Park sprayed for mosquitoes on Friday night, following a West Nile-positive sample. The sample — the first positive one of the summer for UP — was pulled from the northeast side of University Park Elementary School.
In order to continue fighting and preventing mosquitoes, the city will begin “late-night fogging” at 11 p.m. tonight and continue through Friday, Aug. 8. The schedule will be repeated Aug. 11 -15.
