Do pit bulls get a bad rap? Does yours have some unusual talents that you’d like to show off? Would you like to spend a half-day in the company of several block-headed canines with large teeth?
Hollywood Feed, a holistic pet-food store near the intersection of Lemmon and Douglas, will host North Texas Pit Bull Pride Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. It will include demonstrations such as a weight pull, disc dogs, and pet CPR.
Also part of the festivities will be a dog adoption event, various prizes and giveaways, and live music.
