Hyer Elementary School families recently did their part to help the less fortunate have a happy Thanksgiving.
Students and parents brought turkeys to collection boxes at the school. The turkeys are being donated to the North Texas Food Bank, which provides 170,000 meals to the hungry each day through various programs and agencies.
