Highland Park spokesman Lt. Lance Koppa reports that Mi Cocina in Highland Park Village had an isolated fire contained to a vent-a-hood in the kitchen and have temporarily closed the restaurant in order to clean up.
Highland Park police and the University Park Fire Department responded and quickly extinguished the fire. No other businesses were affected.
