Dallas will be hosting its 2nd annual Dallas Book Festival at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library on April 30.
The festival will host more than three dozen authors for a free, daylong event. North Texas authors and illustrators Sarah Hepola, Merritt Tierce, Don Tate, Shawna Seed, and others will be attending the festival. Other guests attending will include Pulitzer Prize-winning author Lawrence Wright, novelists Jessica Knoll, Curtis Sittenfeld, and Omar Tyree, celebrity ghostwriter David Ritz, and many more!
There will also be author presentations and panels, children’s activities, signing sessions with the authors, and live artistic and cultural performances.
Organized by the Dallas Public Library and the Friends of the Dallas Public Library, this nonprofit organization raises awareness and financial support for Dallas’ libraries and their programs.
