Scots Finish Comeback Against Rangers

Keeping its unbeaten record against in-state lacrosse competition intact, Highland Park rallied past Jesuit Dallas 6-4 on Friday at Highlander Stadium.

The Scots (13-2) tallied four unanswered goals in the fourth quarter after scoring just twice in the first three quarters combined to extend their winning streak to six games. The Rangers (9-6) are still in contention for a top-four seed in the upcoming Class A North postseason bracket.

The longtime rivals, of course, are traditionally two of the most decorated high school programs in Texas. It was their 40th meeting all-time, and the first clash since 2012 in which the Rangers have been held to four goals or fewer.

HP will host Rockwall on Tuesday before road games against Allen and rival Episcopal School of Dallas to close the regular season. Jesuit has just one playoff tuneup remaining on April 19 against Southlake Carroll.
