This year, twenty-one organizations across North Texas will receive grant funding from AWARE to empower them in leading the charge against Alzheimers and other dementias.
Founded in 1989, AWARE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing funding and support to North Texas organizations working to combat the challenges of Alzheimers and other dementias. Since their founding, the Dallas-based organization has invested more than $15 million in local providers, researchers, and innovators fighting for loved ones and a cure. Every dollar that AWARE grants stays in North Texas to benefit the local community.
Each year, AWARE conducts an annual grant review process by which grant applicants are carefully vetted to ensure that grant dollars are awarded to projects and programs that serve those living with Alzheimer’s and their care partners, as well as research that focuses on the treatment, prevention, and cure of Alzheimer’s disease.
