The Highland Park Town Council heard from resident Brittany Underwood, who asked the council to consider placing 4-way stop signs on Highland Drive and Gillon Avenue, during a brief Oct. 6 meeting.
Underwood said the signs were needed due to Knox Street through traffic.
Also during the meeting, the council:
- Authorized the town administrator to execute a five-year agreement for HVAC Maintenance Services with Trane U.S. Inc., in an amount not to exceed $519,408.00, for preventive maintenance services for the systems at Town Hall and the Service Center.
- Approved a replat of property at 4501 and 4511 Fairway Ave.
The Study Session was largely a closed session, with the town council convening for personnel matters, including deliberation on the appointment, employment, and duties of the town secretary, town administrator, municipal judge, and town attorney.
