Two Highland Park rising sophomores, Evan Beucler and Clayton Murtha, were starters on the 3-D Sports Team Bizness that took second place in the AUU Ninth-Grade Division II National Tournament in Little Rock, Ark. The tourney was held July 4-9.
Team Bizness, which is coached by Kevin Butler and made up of players from across Dallas/Fort Worth, beat teams from New Jersey, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and Arkansas before falling to Indiana Select in the title game.
Team Bizness also recently went 14-0 in winning the Duncanville Sports League championships. The squad will compete in tournaments in San Antonio and Wichita, Kan., to wrap up the summer season.
