It’s a bit delayed–it happened at 9 p.m. last Wednesday–but sifting through police reports for the June 18 edition of Preston Hollow People, I found this decidedly un-Preston Hollow-esque item: A 31-year-old man was punched and robbed at gunpoint of a $300 Samsung Instinct cell phone, his wallet, a $20 pair of shorts, and a $60 pair of K-Swiss shoes in the 6100 block of Park Lane. It may not quite be the west-of-Tollway Park Lane of Kelcy Warren and $11 and $27 million homes, but still–it’s Park Lane, for crying out loud.
