The 19th-annual Water-Wise Landscape Tour takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The event features homes all around the city that use water-conscious techniques in landscaping, including one on Desco Drive. For a full map, go here.
Every hour on the hour, Dallas County Master Gardener volunteers will give 30-minute talks on how to garden economically and efficiently. They’re also happy to answer questions. In addition, there will be three tour headquarters spanning the territories featured. The first 100 visitors at each of the three stations will get a free hose nozzle.
