Highland Park’s volleyball team looks to stay perfect in District 10-4A play when it plays host to Mesquite Poteet at 7 tonight.
The Lady Scots (24-6, 3-0) are ranked No. 7 in the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s Class 4A state poll, are coming off a 25-3, 25-9, 25-5 sweep of Terrell. Poteet improved to 2-1 in district play with a 25-6, 25-17, 25-16 sweep of West Mesquite last Friday.
Tonight’s match is the last of three straight at home for the Lady Scots, who will play five of their next seven on the road.
