Here’s a fish tale, and it’s a whopper, but it’s true. Park Cities teenagers Dylan Sorrells and Cullum Brown recently won the TBF Junior World Championship bass tournament.
The tandem became the first Texas duo to emerge victorious in the event comprising the nation’s best youth anglers, which this year took place on the Mississippi River near Moline, Illinois.
The event sponsored by the Oklahoma-based Bass Federation has taken place annually since 1994, with scholarships awarded to the winning teams.
