Rourke Receives NFF Gridiron Club Honor

Highland Park senior Adam Rourke was honored with the Army Black Knight Scholarship Award by the National Football Foundation.

Rourke was recognized at the annual banquet of the NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas on Sunday. The two-year starter at cornerback for the Scots, will head to Stanford University as a preferred walk-on next season. He also is an outfielder on the HP baseball team.

Rourke also was named as one of the Dallas chapter’s 2023 High School Scholar-Athletes, along with Blair Brennan (Episcopal School of Dallas), Reed Malphurs (Hillcrest), Cameron Martin (Jesuit), and Mark Spangler (Covenant).
