Ursuline’s National Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday included recognition for nine seniors who have finalized their college athletic plans.
Volleyball opposite hitter Loren Winn signed to play next season at the University of Connecticut. A trio of soccer players signed, too, including midfielder Isabella Zanoni with Illinois plus teammates Quetza Garza (St. Mary’s in San Antonio) and Kate Askew (Trinity).
Other athletes heading to NCAA Division I programs include Madelyne Davis (Houston Christian) in basketball and golfer Sonia Hao (Santa Clara). Rounding out the signees are Kiana Mollabashy (basketball, Kenyon), Berkeley Bundy (golf, Washington and Lee), and Reagan Chen (lacrosse, Embry-Riddle).
