A section of Douglas Avenue was closed for several hours on Jan. 15 after a collision involving an electric bicycle and vehicle.
The vehicle failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Southwestern Boulevard, and a male delivery driver riding an e-bike ran into the vehicle, according to a spokesperson from the city of University Park.
The e-bike rider was transported to an area hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to the spokesperson.
